This heart-shaped fire steel is made after a found in grave 18 from Mockersdorf, Bavaria, Germany. Similar models of this Pirin called fire steel were used between the 8th and 10th century. Heart-shaped fire steels were also found in slavic finds in Menzlin and Groß Raden.
